Sacramento Food Review: Onit Coffee

I haven’t gone out for coffee in a long while, but the idea of a mobile coffee shop intrigued me and I stopped by to check things out!

Onit Coffee

📍: 9250 Big Horn Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95758
📞: (916) 616-0106
💸: $5-7 for coffee, smoothies and teas
⏰: M-F 7am – 9pm, Sat-Sun 9am – 9pm

Onit Coffee is a minority-owned, local mobile food truck in EG that serves coffee, tea and more. They also donate a percentage from EVERY drink to a different non-profit organization each month of the year. Love their vibe and the drinks are great too!

They’re currently stationed not too far from the freeway, and open during COVID for pickup. I’d probably drive back out from Sacramento to get their drinks again since it’s only a 20 minute drive!

We came for a Yelp Event and ordered a medium mocha along with a dirty chai with oat milk. Customer service was top notch, they got our drinks to us within 3-4 min of ordering!

My partner and I were arguing on which drink we liked better, he absolutely loved the chocolatey kick in his iced mocha but I thought my iced dirty chai with oat milk was so smooth and creamy, it really hit the spot on a hot day! In the end, we would recommend both drinks wholeheartedly!

I also tried their senorita bread, which was larger than normal! I liked how fluffy and balanced the senorita bread tasted. It wasn’t overly sticky and buttery, but it still had that sweet, creamy decadent mouth feel.

We’ll be back soon, I’m intrigued by their protein drink options and smoothies too!

One of the drinks and senorita bread was provided as a part of the Yelp Elite event, but I bought the others and my opinions are my own – thanks Yelp for helping us find a new coffee spot!
